Crypto-Flex® is a high-strength, lightweight, and non-combustible fiber-reinforced cement panel engineered specifically for crypt and columbarium construction with an average density of 80 pcf (1281  kg/m3). Manufactured from select fibers and Portland cement, these panels are hydraulically pressed and autoclaved to ensure superior strength, flexibility, and dimensional stability. Crypto-Flex is rot, insect, moisture, and chemical resistant, and remain unaffected by aging or environmental exposure. It is UL-rated Class A with a 0-0-0 Fire, Smoke, and Fuel contribution rating, meeting or exceeding UL 723, ASTM E-84, and ASTM E-136 fire test standards. Meets all national cemetery codes, including California.

    Crypto-Flex is UL rated class A with a 0-0-0 Fire, Smoke and Fuel contribution rating. Panels pass UL 723 Test and ASTM E-84 and E-136 test methods. It also meets or exceeds ASTM Specification C1186-91, Type B, Grade III. Crypto-Flex meets all national cemetery codes, including those in California.

Applications

Applications include crypt and columbarium construction for risers, uprights, shelves, niche and crypt sealers, and other structural components. Crypto-Flex provides long-lasting performance in mausoleum walls, vault linings, and burial chamber partitions. It is also suitable for use as backer panels, enclosure dividers, spacer boards, and precision-cut liners in memorial structures. Its strength and durability make it ideal for eliminating joints, maintaining structural integrity, and meeting all national cemetery requirements, including those in California.

Installation and Fabrication

Crypto-Flex panels are lightweight, flexible, and strong, making them easy to handle and adaptable to conventional panel installation and fabrication techniques. They can be cut and drilled using standard carpentry tools, such as circular saws equipped with diamond-tipped blades and carbide-tipped drill bits. The panels' surfaces readily accept paint, stains, or other finishes, allowing for customization.

Shipping

Shipping will be automatically calculated at checkout for all orders within the contiguous United States. Orders of in-stock materials generally ship from our factory within 1-3 business days after receipt of the order. Delivery times vary depending on location within the United States. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information on the day your order ships.

There is a $65 charge per pallet. Please note that depending on order size, a shipment may contain multiple pallets. Maximum pallet quantities are noted in the Product Details above.
