Transite® HT - 48” x 96” x 1/2”

Applications include industrial and electrical systems requiring strength, thermal stability, and electrical insulation. It is commonly used for load-bearing gaskets, press plates, machine guards, spacers, and structural supports. Transite HT is ideal for laboratory benchtops, fume hood linings, and component mounting plates. Electrical applications include busbar supports, transformer spacers, terminal strips, arc shields, coil supports, and collars. It also performs well in high-heat environments such as oven shelving, soldering plates, welding shields, splash guards, and furnace walls.

Transite HT panels are dense, durable, and easy to machine, making them well-suited for conventional fabrication and installation methods. They can be cut and routed using standard dry-cutting techniques with diamond-segmented blades and high-abrasion-resistant router bits. Transite HT can be installed directly to framing members using screws, bolts, or mechanical fasteners through predrilled oversized holes. The panels are recommended for interior, non-structural applications and can be shaped into fine, intricate parts with excellent dimensional stability.
