FibreCem® is a strong, lightweight, and non-combustible fiber-reinforced cement panel with an average density of 80 pcf (1281  kg/m3). Made from select fibers and Portland cement, these panels are hydraulically pressed and autoclaved for maximum strength, flexibility, and dimensional stability. FibreCem is rot, insect, moisture, and chemical resistant, and does not contain glass fiber, gypsum, or formaldehyde. It is UL-rated Class A with a 0-0-0 Fire, Smoke, and Fuel contribution rating, meeting or exceeding UL 723, ASTM E-84, and ASTM E-136 test standards.

    FibreCem is UL rated class A with a 0-0-0 Fire, Smoke and Fuel contribution rating. Panels pass UL 723 Test and ASTM E-84 and E-136 test methods. It also meets or exceeds ASTM Specification C1186-91, Type B, Grade III.

Applications

Applications include industrial and commercial construction for curtain walls, interior and exterior cladding, soffits, fascias, and spandrels. It provides durable protection in fire barriers, heat shields, chute and duct linings, and conveyor enclosures. FibreCem is also used as underlayment, backer boards, livestock linings, and economical flask jacket liners. Additional applications include fume hoods, equipment and mechanical screens, toilet partitions, kick plates, partition panels, balcony enclosures, and welding table tops.

Installation and Fabrication

FibreCem panels are lightweight, flexible, and strong, making them easy to handle and adaptable to conventional panel installation and fabrication techniques. They can be cut and drilled using standard carpentry tools, such as circular saws equipped with diamond-tipped blades and carbide-tipped drill bits. The panels' surfaces readily accept paint, stains, or other finishes, allowing for customization.

Shipping

Shipping will be automatically calculated at checkout for all orders within the contiguous United States. Orders of in-stock materials generally ship from our factory within 1-3 business days after receipt of the order. Delivery times vary depending on location within the United States. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information on the day your order ships.

There is a $65 charge per pallet. Please note that depending on order size, a shipment may contain multiple pallets. Maximum pallet quantities are noted in the Product Details above.
